The Alice in Blunderland series was created as a response to a failed commission I had to refund to a client in 2020 at the height of Covid. At the time it was one of my largest sized and priced commissions for a one off artwork. There were many variables that led to this deal falling apart, and while it may sound like a story of failure, it was one of the most valuable lessons I learned in my career on how to approach commissions and communication with clients in the future. Re-imagining that work with the assistance of A.I. led to development of this series which I showcased alongside my original painting at my show.
