Created in the last days before the exhibit, Ride The Slide combines Sillyhead and Ferg, two characters developed by Dad and daughter respectively to represent the other. In an artwork that bridges the creativity and playfulness of the bond shared between parent and child, Ferg represents my inner child that I have been given permission to explore and rediscover once again in my role as a parent to my brilliantly silly daughter.
