Shaman Elvis came to me on a dark evening in a dimly lit wine bar back in 2016. Initially on a 5 x 7 piece of office paper it survived in a small box in a small frame and has traveled with me to multiple studios, through the death of my father, through my induction into fatherhood, a worldwide pandemic, and life events I never could have fathomed to arrive at its final form here. While I may never know why I am compelled to create certain artworks, or granted certain visions, I do know that they are a gift from a source beyond my understanding. It is now my turn to offer this gift up to you in this time limited opportunity for collection.
